Diarra admits considering asking away from Real Madrid

Mahamadou Diarra admits he considered quitting Real Madrid during the midseason winter market.

The Mali international midfielder said: "In football, as in life, bumps take place. There are moments where you are happy and others when you are not. At the end of December and beginning of January it is true that I had a difficult time, but this also happens in normal life."

"I must recognize that, yes, there were moments that asked a lot of me, of my life and future here. Many people were talking about me. But they talked too soon, because I know that my future in Madrid depends on me. This is what has happened: I have returned to play at a good level."

"Although it is true that I asked myself certain questions, I have never doubted my capacity to play soccer nor so that I should be here at Real Madrid."
