Di Maria: I hope to join Real Madrid as World Cup winner

Argentina winger Angel di Maria has broken his silence on his €25 million move to Real Madrid.

The departing Benfica star won't be unveiled at the Bernabeu until after the World Cup, but is already looking forward to moving to Madrid.

Di Maria said: "I am happy to play for Real Madrid. I always dreamed of moving to a most competitive league like the Spanish."

"It would be the ideal dream to go to Real Madrid after winning the World Cup with Argentina. I hope I can."
