Departing Mijatovic proud of Real Madrid work

Predrag Mijatovic has left his job as Real Madrid sports director.

Mijatovic, who was former president Ramon Calderon's right-hand man over three seasons, agreed to terminate his Real contract yesterday, with still a year to run.

He said last night: "Personally, I say goodbye with a feeling of accomplishment and a positive balance in the professional and the personal part of life."

"In these three years, the first team has won two league titles and a Spanish Super Cup, but especially on a personal level, I had the immense satisfaction of sharing projects and dreams with a team of such high class. "
