Denoueix: Real Sociedad can win the championship

Real Sociedad trainer Raynald Denoueix has spoken for the first time about his team's chances of winning this season's title.

Previously, Denoueix was happy to play down Real's championship prospects, insisting Europe was his team's only goal.

But the Frenchman said yesterday: "It is important to dream about the title."

"We are a single point off the leadership and there is only a third of the season left."

"This is why we must work to improve that position."

"But yes, I must also say that although it is good to dream, the immediate objective is to win against Racing Santander this week."
