Del Bosque to call on reserves

Real Madrid coach Vicente Del Bosque may be forced to juggle his squad around for next week's Trofeo Bernabeu clash against Inter Milan.

Del Bosque is worried that the club will not be able to give their home fans a fitting presentation of the new-look team, as many first team players will be away on international duty.

Real have already lost left-back Roberto Carlos, who flew to Brazil on Monday to join his national team.

And the available squad could be trimmed back further if Luis Figo, Zinedine Zidane, Claude Makelele and Steve McManaman get called up to represent their respective national sides in a series of friendlies next week.

Del Bosque may have no option but to draft in the likes of Santiago Solari, Albert Celades, Falvio Concecaio and Guti to make up the missing numbers.

The Trofeo Bernabeu, Real's annual pre-season showcase to the club's fans, is due to take place on August 14.
