Del Bosque says defeat will hurt Barcelona more than Real

Real Madrid trainer Vicente del Bosque believes defeat would hurt Barcelona more than his own team.

"If Barcelona loses, they will be a great distance from the top places - not only with respect to Real Madrid, but also with other teams," said Del Bosque.

"The distance would not be insurmountable, but it would begin to be substantial (for Barca)."

Del Bosque confirmed Zinedine Zidane would be missing tonight after returning to Madrid from France carrying an injury.

"He has been an important and surprising loss. We thought that he would be in good condition, but it is better that he recovers well because the season is very long and it is better not to force him to play now."

Del Bosque insists the atmosphere at the Nou Camp will not affect his players.

He added, "The only thing that worries me is that we improve on the last few games and for me, its more worrying two great players (Hierro and Zidane) cannot play."
