Del Bosque satisfied with Real win

Real Madrid coach Vicente del Bosque claimed that he was satisfied with his team's 2-0 victory over Tenerife last night.

Despite having to suffer intense pressure for the majority of the second half, the Madrid giants left the Canary Islands with three points and although satisfied, Del Bosque pointed out that it was not easy for them to win.

"We made efforts to gain this victory. Tenerife's attacks were particularly dangerous in the second half. I think my side were tired after the match on Wednesday," the coach said.

"Our rivals played at high level and looked like a strong team. But it is obvious that they were not well-organized in the attack line," he added.

The 2-0 win came courtesy of Ivan Helguera near-post shot on 14 minutes and a hotly disputed 90th minute penalty by Luis Figo.
