Del Bosque: Real Madrid may've won more trophies under different coach

Real Madrid trainer Vicente del Bosque admits the club could have won more trophies under another coach.

He said yesterday: "If there was another trainer in Madrid, we could have won more titles, but what I value more over titles is that people appreciate our full game and they enjoy how the team plays."

On Saturday's 4-2 defeat by Real Sociedad, Del Bosque added, "You don't want to lose any game. But the form of the team has been very good and it's not overly worrying."

Asked whether Champions League commitments could work against them, Del Bosque said: "No, I don't believe so. I also don't think Depor or Sociedad have an advantage because they're not playing in Europe.

"I bet Depor would love to still be in the Champions League.

"The calendar is complicated, but playing these big games can also be an advantage."
