Del Bosque pleased with "reaction" as Real Madrid stun Malaga

After going 2-0 behind, Real Madrid stunned Malaga with a late comeback to win 3-2 yesterday.

Kiki Musampa and Dely Valdes had put the hosts ahead, before Real hit back to win through goals from Zinedine Zidane, Raul and Luis Figo.

Afterwards, a delighted Real trainer Vicente del Bosque said, "We knew we had to raise our game and we reacted well."

"The game was attractive and was entertaining. We knew we started badly and it was most important to comeback."

"The result was the right one. Malaga was better in the first-half, but we controlled the game after Zidane's goal and could have scored more."
