Del Bosque Not Impressed With Ronaldo Award

Real Madrid coach Vicente Del Bosque was not particularly impressed after Ronaldo won the European football of the year award.

"These are prizes that are more for publicity than anything else and in many cases they are totally distanced from football," he said.

"I wouldn't just give the Golden Ball to Ronaldo but also to many other players besides - among them Raul."

He did add that he was happy with the striker after his move from Inter.
