Del Bosque doubts Real Madrid "spoke personally" with Arsenal boss

Real Madrid trainer Vicente del Bosque says he doubts whether the club has "spoken personally" with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

It's been claimed that Wenger has a "gentlemen's agreement" with Real president Florentino Perez that he will give him a decision next month on taking over from Del Bosque.

But the Real trainer said last night: "I am not a beginner at this game and it doesn't bother me. I doubt the club will have personally talked to Wenger."

"I would like to remain in charge but the world will not stop if I am not."

"I will simply continue working as normal until the end of the season and do all I can to help Real win the league title."

"Whether it is me or someone else in charge, Real need an efficient coach who can run the squad and is well capable of winning as many titles as possible."

"But if somebody new does come in, it will not be easy and would devastate this team."
