Del Bosque Comforts Morientes

Real Madrid coach Vicente Del Bosque had words of comfort for Fernando Morientes after he left the striker out of his starting line-up to face Espanyol last night.

The Spanish international was only brought on in the 81st minute of the match.

"Although he only figured for a few minutes he confirmed that he is a player we are counting on and another member of the squad," said Del Bosque.
