Del Bosque blames call-ups for poor form

Real Madrid trainer Vicente del Bosque has blamed the constant chopping-and-changing of his line-up on the team's indifferent Liga form this season.

He told Radio Marca: "We have had a lack of continuity that has created a crazy situation for us with so many injuries, international call-ups ... etc."

Del Bosque insisted he wasn't offering this reason as an excuse and added:

"I see a very exciting season ahead in which there are many lost points."

"I am very excited, we are going to fight until the death for the Liga, so nobody should write us off because we are going to be there above them as soon as we fit in two or three positive results."
