Del Bosque attempts to stay upbeat as Real Madrid are held

Real Madrid trainer Vicente del Bosque tried to stay upbeat despite last night's shock 2-2 draw with Lokomotiv Moscow.

Raul scored both goals for the hosts, but it wasn't enough and leaves Real's hold on the Champions League trophy looking shaky.

"There are many points left to play for and it would be premature to say what will happen," said Del Bosque.

"We are accustomed to going into February with six points, now it is a new situation, but we hope to figure out a way to bounce back."

Zinedine Zidane was scathing of his own performance. The French star said: "The team played very well. But I played very poorly."

"I admit I am feeling tired from the many games I am playing."

"Now we have two tests against Borussia Dortmund. We will see what happens."

Roberto Carlos stayed positive, insisting: "In February, everything will return to normal and I am confident that we will qualify ourselves for the quarterfinals."
