Dad on Real Madrid claims: Barcelona's Messi won't commit treason

The father of Barcelona star Lionel Messi says there's no chance of his son "committing treason" and joining Real Madrid.

Messi has been the subject of claims by Real Madrid presidential candidates, but Dad Jorge said: "Each one will know what they're doing, but what cannot be done is for them to take Leo away from Barca.

"Leo is a boy very much wanted by everyone and I can assure the fans that he will not commit treason of this type."
