Dad: Joaquin prefers Real Madrid over Chelsea

The agent and Dad of Real Betis winger Joaquin says his son isn't interested in moving to Chelsea.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has offered £22 million for the Spanish international winger and has opened serious talks with Betis president Manuel Ruiz de Lopera.

But Joaquin's Dad said last night: "He's not interested in the Blues. In any case they must first speak with the club."

"But I'm sure, however, that my son won't accept a transfer to England - his mind is set on Real Madrid, one club who he is fascinated by."
