Dad denies Real Madrid meeting over Arsenal ace Cesc

The father of Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has rubbished reports of talks with Real Madrid over the weekend.

It was claimed Francesc Fabregas was at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday upon invitation from Real president Florentino Perez to see the 2-0 win over Valencia.

However, Francesc told Sport this morning that he was 'astonished' by the claims as he spent Sunday with his family and was nowhere near Madrid.
