Dad confident Chelsea's Robben will join Real Madrid

Arjen Robben's Dad remains confident the Chelsea winger will join Real Madrid this week.

Hans Robben, who also acts as Arjen's agent, told AS: "We hope the agreement between Real Madrid and Chelsea can be closed tomorrow (for today). Between today and Wednesday we think that everything can be solved.

"My son cannot make any type of comment or grant any interview until the agreement between Madrid and Chelsea is reached. His present club will not allow him to speak with the Spanish press until the agreement arrives. Chelsea is a club that protects its players.

"Once everything is settled, then he will make a comment."
