Cuper says Inter still in for Real Madrid's Solari

Inter Milan trainer Hector Cuper says Gabriel Batistuta's arrival does not mean the deal for Real Madrid's Santiago Solari will be shelved.

Batistuta signed with Inter yesterday after an agreement that both the Milan club and AS Roma would share the Argentine's wages.

The striker will spend the rest of the season on-loan at the San Siro before coming out of contract in June.

Cuper said: "The arrival of Batistuta does not close the door on Solari. That negotiation depends on the decision that will made by Inter and Real Madrid."
