Cuper Reopens Ronaldo Issue

Inter coach Hector Cuper has reopened the controversial matter of Ronaldo's departure to Real Madrid last summer.

The Brazilian sited one of his reasons for leaving as being his poor relationship with the coach.

Cuper has now told 'El Tirachinas': "There's been too much talk on this, but not by myself. There's not much logic in what has been said, and I can answer only if I'm attacked on a logic basis. In Italy everybody understood that there was a man who wanted to leave, and that I didn't prevent him from leaving. Until May 5th, eveything was normal. He wanted to leave, but not because of a problem with me."
