Cuper A Liar, Says Ronaldo

Brazilian star Ronaldo has branded Inter coach Hector Cuper a liar following his controversial move from the Nerazzurri to Real Madrid.

"Cuper is a liar when he says that he had a normal relationship with me," Ronaldo told Italian TV programme TG1.

"Since he arrived at Inter the side has never entertained the public. This is one of the reasons why I decided to leave Italy."

In another interview, this time with Gazzetta dello Sport, the Brazilian has claimed that Cuper set out to destroy him.

"I told him that I didn't believe in his work and that he wasn't sincere with me," he said.

"I ran risks for my career because of him. I hurt myself four or five times because he didn't follow the advice of doctors. And he knew that he made a mistake, that's why I talk of bad faith."

Ronaldo also said that he had decided to leave the club before the World Cup and added that he was disappointed that Inter president Massimo Moratti took the side of Cuper instead of him.
