CSKA Moscow cool on link with ex-Real Madrid coach Del Bosque

Former Real Madrid trainer Vicente del Bosque has been linked with Russian giants CSKA Moscow.

CSKA have confirmed they have agreed terms with a "Champions League winning coach", who will join the club in January.

Del Bosque's name has emerged as the most likely candidate to replace Valeri Gazzaev, who was sacked by CSKA after a shock early exit at the hands of Macedonian minnows FK Vardar in the UCL qualifying round this season.

However, CSKA spokesman Serguéi Aksiónov insists reports linking Del Bosque with the Russian giants are "without foundation", though refused to reveal the coach's name when pressed last night.
