Cruzeiro teammates convinced Lucas Silva will join Real Madrid

Cruzeiro players believe teammate Lucas Silva will be joining Real Madrid.

The midfielder could sign for Real this week with the Brazilian Championship now complete.

"Being able to play for a team like Real Madrid is the dream of any player," said his team-mate Mayke. "We know he will go, but he still can’t imagine it."

Cruzeiro striker Borges also said: "Lucas has it all to play for with Madrid, we are waiting for it to happen as soon as possible."

"He is a midfielder who presses well, moves the ball well, has a lot of quality in passing the ball and is a good finisher."
