Cristiano Ronaldo passes 30 La Liga goals for the sixth consecutive season

Cristiano Ronaldo‘s outlandish goal scoring exploits continued as the Real Madrid forward become the first person to pass 30 La Liga goals for the sixth consecutive season.

Ronaldo fired in Los Blancos’ third goal in a comfortable 4-0 win over Eibar. Furthermore, the former Red Devils forward also registered two assists in the game.

Cristiano Ronaldo has now reached 30+ La Liga goals in his last 6 consecutive seasons.

The 31-year-old leads La Liga’s goalscoring table and is now level with Gonzalo Higuain and Zlatan Ibrahimovic for most goals in the top five European leagues.

He joined Madrid from Manchester United in 2009 and it is a mark of his consistency at the very top of the game that he has scored over 30 goals in all but one season in the Spanish capital.

This term, Ronaldo has played on the left-hand side of a 4-3-3 formation with Karim Benzema occupying the centre-forward role.
