Cristiano Ronaldo opens up on Real Madrid chances in Champions League final

Cristiano Ronaldo says Real Madrid are "50/50" to beat Juventus in the Champions League final.

Real Madrid progressed to their third Champions League final in four years with a 4-2 aggregate win over Atletico Madrid last night.Real lost 2-1 on the night in the Vicente Calderon but Isco's first-half goal put the tie beyond Atletico's reach.

Juve lost the Champions League final to Barcelona two years ago, but Cristiano Ronaldo insists his side are not favourites.

"Nothing is easy, we will fight until the end to win the Champions League," he said after the semi-final win.

"We are well, I rate the final as 50/50."

Atletico needed three goals to cancel out Ronaldo's hat-trick in Real's 3-0 first-leg victory and raced into a 2-0 lead last night.

However, Real killed the momentum and a wonderful piece of skill from Karim Benzema on the left byline eventually led to Isco's vital finish.

"We knew that Atleti were going to start well and they had the luck to score two goals, but we have experience and we knew that to get a goal would kill them. We are Real Madrid and we have more experience," Ronaldo said of the match.

"The team is very good, the players who play the most and the ones who play less, we have a great team, it is very complete, we show it in every match."

Asked about his own form, Ronaldo added: "I'm very good. I feel good and I have demonstrated that in these games. I am very happy, we have to prepare well for the end."
