Alas, during a game in preseason training out in Australia, Ronaldo made the critical error of giving his Portuguese colleague a playful little shove.

This angered Pepe, who decided to exact his stampy revenge on Ronaldo the very next time the ball went anywhere near him.

Fear not, as Cristiano was back up on his feet again soon after, though he did appear to be nursing a rather sore shin bone for a while.
