Cristiano Ronaldo: I Am Still Not 100%

Despite scoring a howling free kick from 30 metres and icing the match with an opportunistic late strike in Real Madrid's Champions League match against Olympique de Marseille on Tuesday, the most expensive signing in football thinks he has much more to give.

"I am happy to have scored two goals and for having finished atop our group", explained the Portuguese in his post-match comments. "It was a great match and I have to congratulate the team, which played very well and came out in the second half much calmer than in previous matches".

"I am not yet at 100%. I can give more and, physically, there are things I can improve upon, but I am progressing. The medical and physical therapy teams have worked very well these past weeks."

About this weekend's match at Valencia, CR9 expressed his regret at having picked up a red card that will rule him out of the clash at La Mestalla, "The expulsion was a human error and I have confidence in my team-mates to achieve a favourable result".
