Crespo Aware He May Be Sold

Hernan Crespo says he is happy to stay at Lazio but is aware that the club's current financial plight may force him to be sold off by president Sergio Cragnotti.

After a poor season and disagreements with the club, it looked as though the Argentine was certain to be heading out but so far no one has been able to agree a fee with the Biancocelesti for the former Parma ace.

"I want to stay here, to honour this shirt, but I'm aware that if a decent offer comes in president Cragnotti could decide to sell me," he said.

The transfer deadline arrives on August 31.
