Copa del Rey Preview: Nastic-Real Madrid

Vicente Del Bosque has repeated many times the club see the Copa del Rey as a major target. They are willing to celebrate next year's centenario in style and, possibly, with a dramatic treble.

Gimnastic de Tarragona cannot realistically be considered as a threat to mighty Real, who will therefore rotate to rest some players.

The match will be played in two legs. This factor increases Real's chances to go through.

Del Bosque will however keep some of his major stars on the pitch for the first leg as he is willing to rotate even more in Madrid.

Like in Lanzarote, Cesar will replace titular Iker Casillas between the posts. Karanka, Geremi or Raul Bravo could get the nod in defence, whereas the chance to see Guti coming back to midfield is still uncertain.

Ivan Campo could return after overcoming personal problems. He worked with a peaceful mind in training and looks ready to come back to action.
