Cologne confirm Real Madrid interest for Podolski

Cologne has confirmed the interest of Real Madrid in their striker Lukas Podolski.

The 20 year-old Germany international is a £10 million target for Real, which hope to sign the striker before the World Cup.

A Cologne spokesman told AS: "Yes, it is true, there are many teams interested in this player, including Real Madrid."
