Coaching Ballon d’Or to be awarded to Real Madrid boss Mourinho

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is expected to win the coaching Ballon d'Or next week.

Leaks from the awards camp last month had suggested Spain coach Vicente del Bosque would be named the winner.

But El Mundo Deportivo says Mourinho will be named 2010 Coach of the Year on Monday thanks to the Treble he won with Inter Milan last season.

Mourinho has declared he should be coach of the year, but didn't expect to be given the gong.
