Clemente slates Luxemburgo's Real Madrid formation

Spanish mastercoach Javier Clemente has questioned Vanderlei Luxemburgo's tactics in the opening weeks of the season with Real Madrid.
 
"I don't like anything about his 'magical' team," said Clemente. "But he is a champion of the world and obviously knows what he is doing because he says he has won everything in the game."

"Of course, us coaches aren't being conceited when pointing out faults because we have won things with our systems."

"It is a debate. And I will say that what works in Brazil, isn't going to work in Spain."

"I can't explain why he would do away with wingers. He's decided to do so, but I can't see why. I have always considered wingers very important. Perhaps they're not in Brazil, but in Spain they are."

Tellingly, Clemente added: "Real Madrid have great players - the best technically. But when the game is fast and they need to defend, they have very great difficulty."
