Cicinho confirms January move to Real Madrid

Sao Paulo fullback Cicinho has confirmed he will join Real Madrid in January.
 
The Brazil international will move to Spain at the end of the Brazilian championship and told Marca: "I am very happy to be moving to Madrid and signing for one of the best teams in the world."

"It is certain that I will move to Madrid in January, after trying to conquer the Club World Championship with Sao Paulo. But from then, I am part of the Madridista group and will put all my efforts into winning a place in the team."

"I'm proud that Madrid has paid attention to me."

Cicinho added: "I'm very grateful to professor Luxemburgo for recommending my signing. I'll be very proud to work for him, one of the great trainers to come from Brazil."
