Chelsea to throw bank at Real Madrid for Becks

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is ready to throw the bank at Real Madrid for England skipper David Beckham.

The Daily Star says Abramovich has told new chief executive Peter Kenyon to bring Beckham to Stamford Bridge - no matter the cost.

It's already widely reported that the Russian tycoon has made Beckham's capture a pet project.
