Chelsea's Makelele urges Arsenal striker Henry to consider Real Madrid

Chelsea midfielder Claude Makelele has recommended his French teammate Thierry Henry move to Real Madrid next season.

Makelele's comments come quickly on from another French colleague, Zinedine Zidane, who has also admitted he'd like to see the Arsenal striker at Real.

"I can understand why he may want to go (to Real)," Makelele told AS. "Real Madrid is Real Madrid and personally, I am sure I will return there one day."

"It is one of the greatest clubs in the world and anyone who goes there will love it."
