Chelsea's Essien won't rule out permanent Real Madrid stay

Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien has left the door open to signing permanently for Real Madrid.

Essien joined Real on-loan during Friday's transfer deadline day.

Regarding his future at the end of the campaign, Essien said: "At the moment I'm only on loan and I'm going to work hard for real madrid. At the end of the season we'll see what happens."
