Chelsea, Real Madrid alerted as Juventus ponder Davids loan

Juventus are interested in making Edgar Davids available for loan during January's transfer window.

The Dutchman comes off contract at the end of the season and is indicating he wants to leave the Italian champs.

Davids' agent was in Turin yesterday and it's understood a new contract was offered - which was 30 per cent less than what the midfielder is currently earning.

Juve are keen to loan Davids in midseason, with Chelsea and Real Madrid heading the queue to sign the Dutchman.

But Davids would prefer to stay with Juve until season's end.
