Chelsea plan to trump Man Utd, Real Madrid for USA kid Adu

Chelsea are planning to trump Manchester United for American teen sensation Freddy Adu.

The 14 year-old is expected to sign for United, though he has also expressed interest in joining hero David Beckham at Real Madrid.

However, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is willing to splash out £3 million to secure the youngster's signature from under the noses of United and Real after being urged to move for Adu by his football advisors.
