Chelsea must beat Inter Milan, Real Madrid for Eriksson

Chelsea are battling Real Madrid, Inter Milan and the English FA for the services of manager Sven Goran Eriksson.

The Sunday Express says all three European giants are keen to prise Eriksson away from his England contract in the summer.

Eriksson has intimated that he would be willing to sit down and discuss a deal with the FA taking him through to the 2006 World Cup. But that hasn't stopped Chelsea and Real Madrid from preparing major moves for the Swede.

Inter are also interested in bringing the ex-Lazio coach back to Italy, where he cold replace an under-fire Alberto Zaccheroni.
