Chelsea, Man Utd watch as Real Madrid's Figo drops agent

Real Madrid ace Luis Figo has ended his 10-year partnership with his agent, Jorge Veiga.

Manchester United, AC Milan and Chelsea have all reportedly made contact with Figo in the past month about an end-of-season move.

Figo announced his split from Veiga yesterday, saying through his personal communication company: "The origin of this decision is that the continuity of the professional relationship would not bring any benefits to either party."

"I hope to preserve our personal friendship and I wish Jose Veiga greater professional and personal success in the future."
