Chelsea line up raid for Real Madrid star Zidane

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is considering a move for Real Madrid superstar Zinedine Zidane.

Abramovich's advisors have told the billionaire that to fast-track Chelsea's popularity across Asia and North America he needs to sign big-name players.

Chelsea are believed to be planning a raid on Zidane, so to take advantage of the profile the French ace enjoys around the world.

Real Madrid have worked hard on building Zidane's name throughout Asia, but could be trumped by Chelsea if Abramovich attempts to bring the midfielder to Stamford Bridge next year.
