Chelsea boss: I didn't want Real Madrid pair Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has taken a swipe at Champions League rivals Real Madrid.

"Real Madrid has a hole in their team. They are a star-studded squad, which also has a group of many young players who are not prepared nor have the ability to compete with the best in the toughest competitions," said Mourinho.

"You need some players with a low profile."

Mourinho also dismissed Chelsea's interest in Real stars Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos.

"I said to Abramovich from the first day that I did not want these type of people in my team. I believe my president understood the message and we all know why we signed Paulo Ferreira and Drogba instead of those other two."
