Chelsea alerted as Real Madrid candidate puts Robert Carlos on notice

Chelsea have been put on red alert after comments made by Real Madrid presidential candidate Enrique Sobrino.

Following up on suggestions that he will offload David Beckham if he is made president, Sobrino has also fired a warning at Roberto Carlos, who is being chased by Chelsea.

He said: "People say Roberto Carlos has an agreement with another club, I don't know if that's true or not, but one thing that's certain if he is looking for the contract of his life and we're not going to give it to him."
