Chelsea again move for Real Madrid's Salgado

Chelsea have approached the representatives of Real Madrid fullback Michel Salgado.

The Sunday Mirror says Chelsea have initiated talks about bringing the Spanish international to London, despite him signing a new deal with Real earlier this season.

Chelsea are also believed to have made an approach for Real Betis winger Joaquin as they look to plunder the Spanish transfer market.
