Charlton boss Curbs meets Real Madrid whiz

Charlton Athletic are keen to bring Real Madrid whiz-kid Javier Portillo to the Premiership next season.

The Addicks have just signed a £1 million three-year deal with the UK arm of Spanish manufacturers Joma, which are Portillo's boot sponsors.

The teenage forward is seeking regular first team football and met Charlton boss Alan Curbishley yesterday at the Madrid launch of the club's new kit.
