Celtic Fc won 1-0 over FC Porto in Scotland and Rosenborg BK earned their first point by playing 1-1 against Juventus FC.

Group F.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen won 2-1 over Fc Barcelona in Germany after being behind 1-0 in halftime. Turkish outfit Fenerbache lost on home field 0-1 to Olympique Lyonnaise.

Group G.

Lille won 3-1 over Olympiakos Piraeus in France and Deportivo La Coruna won 2-1 over Manchester United with to goals in the last 5 minutes. Manchester went ahead in the 40th minut.

Group H.

Spartak Moscow lost on home field to defending Champion Bayern München 1-3. Sparta Prague beat Feyenoord 4-0 on home field.
