AEK ATHENS v AS MONACO

Monaco have already qualified and AEK are guaranteed to finish last so the only thing at stake in Athens is whether the visitors can clinch top spot by matching or bettering Deportivo Coruna's result at PSV Eindhoven.

AEK have an injury worry over defender Michalis Kapsis, the centre back having picked up a knock on his knee in Sunday's 3-1 win over Xanthi. He trained on Monday and is expected to face a late fitness test.

Striker Ilija Ivic and defender Michalis Kasapis are both out of the squad through injury while wing back and league top scorer Giorgos Georgatos is looking for another club after terminating his contract by joint agreement with the club.

Monaco midfielder Jerome Rothen has missed training with tonsillitis, but he will travel to Athens.

Croatian striker Dado Prso has a pulled muscle in his leg but should play.

First choice goalkeeper Flavio Roma is out with an ankle injury and will be replaced by Tony Sylva.

Captain and midfielder Ludovic Giuly misses the game through suspension after being sent off in 1-1 draw with PSV Eindhoven.

PSV EINDHOVEN v DEPORTIVO CORUNA

PSV Eindhoven need to beat Deportivo 2-0 or better to have a chance of going through and will have to do so without long term injury victim Mark van Bommel.

Midfielder Johann Vogel, who missed last Saturday's 7-0 win over Volendam with flu, is another likely absentee.

Fellow midfielder Theo Lucius is suspended after his red card in Monaco a fortnight ago but Andre Ooijer, Ernest Faber, Remco van der Schaaf and Dennis Rommedahl should all be available.

Mateja Kezman, hit four on Saturday and will hope to end a run of 13 successive Champions League games without a goal.

Deportivo will go through with a draw and could still progress with a defeat, depending on its severity and the performance of Monaco in Athens.

They will be without inspirational midfield Mauro Silva, who picked up a calf injury in training on Monday. The experienced Brazilian is likely to be replaced by Argentine Aldo Duscher who will play alongside Sergio in the middle.

Coach Javier Irureta, who is concerned by his side's lacklustre form in the league and by their difficulties in finding the net, may decide to play Albert Luque in the striker's role and start with Fran on the left wing in an attempt to stretch the PSV defence.

At the back Moroccan defender Noureddine Naybet and Spanish international Enrique Romero are doubtful after missing the weekend league game against Malaga with minor injuries, while left back Joan Capdevila may have done enough to retain his place after scoring the winning goal against the Andalucians.
