MONACO v AEK ATHENS
Monaco rested Spanish striker Fernando Morientes for Saturday's game against Toulouse, which the league leaders won 3-0. Midfielder Ludovic Giuly, also rested, came on as a second half substitute.
Midfielder Akis Zikos missed the game because of a knee injury but is expected to play against AEK Athens, his former club. He will probably take the place of Edouard Cisse, who scored against Toulouse and in the opening Champions League win against PSV Eindhoven.
AEK need to improve on a 2-2 draw over the weekend against midtable Panionios after trailing 2-0.
Michalis Kasapis is expected to re-join the squad after getting the go-ahead from AEK coach Dusan Bajevic, following an injury that had kept him out since August 23. "I am well and I don't feel any pain," Kasapis said.

Deportivo lost their 100 percent record and the leadership of the Primera Liga after slumping to a surprise 3-2 defeat at Osasuna at the weekend, shipping three goals in a nightmare four-minute spell in the first half.
They will be anxious to make amends with a first victory in this season's Champions League campaign when they host PSV Eindhoven at the Riazor on Tuesday.
Coach Javier Irureta's main concern is over the left back slot after first choice defender Enrique Romero sustained a hand injury in a bizarre incident prior to the Osasuna match.
The Spanish international was bitten on the hand by a snake at Pamplona airport and had to spend a night in hospital under observation. In-form striker Walter Pandiani is likely to get the nod over Diego Tristan up front.
PSV Eindhoven travelled to Spain after missing a hatful of chances in Saturday's 1-0 home defeat by AZ Alkmaar, their first loss of the season.
But goalkeeper Ronald Waterreus said: "If you win 6-1 over Willem II or lose 1-0 against AZ says nothing how you will do in the Champions League. It would be different if we'd played badly, but I still believe that the match we played Saturday was the best we played this season."
Korean international Young-Pyo Lee (ankle) is the only doubtful player in Guus Hiddink's squad. Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink is expected to partner Mateja Kezman up front, instead of Ji-Sung Park.
