Team news and probable line-ups for Tuesday's Group C matches in the second phase of the Champions League:

BORUSSIA DORTMUND vs. REAL MADRID

Borussia Dortmund coach Matthias Sammer has no major injury worries for a game the Germans cannot afford to lose.

Czech Jan Koller and Brazilian Ewerthon, who each scored when Dortmund fought back from two goals down for a 2-2 draw with Schalke 04 in an ill-tempered Ruhr Valley derby on Saturday, should be paired up front.

"We must take risks going up front and play with more authority than we did last week," said midfielder Torsten Frings, referring to Dortmund's 2-1 defeat in Madrid.

Holders Real revived their campaign with that win but they still have a lot of work to do to make the quarter-finals.

Real coach Vicente del Bosque will welcome back French midfielder Zinedine Zidane, who missed Saturday's 3-1 league win over Valladolid because of a back problem, and Luis Figo, who was suspended at the weekend.

Fernando Hierro is still missing with a knee injury, meaning Francisco Pavon will continue alongside Ivan Helguera at centre back, but otherwise Del Bosque should be able to name a full-strength side.

LOKOMOTIV MOSCOW vs. AC MILAN

Rugged right back Vadim Yevseyev returns for Lokomotiv after sitting out last week's 1-0 defeat by AC Milan at San Siro due to suspension.

Lokomotiv's Brazilian striker Julio Cesar, who missed the game in Milan with a thigh injury, should be fit but the Russian champions will be without influential South African midfielder Jacob Lekgetho due to suspension.

"We'll need to play a better and a more aggressive game than we showed in Milan to have any chance of winning," said Lokomotiv coach Yuri Syomin, whose team prop up the group on one point.

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti, seeking a win that will clinch qualification, is without striker Andriy Shevchenko again. The Ukrainian has a thigh injury, so Filippo Inzaghi will probably play as a lone striker.

Centre back Alessandro Nesta missed Saturday's game at Torino with a fever but is expected to have recovered in time for the trip, but midfielder Andrea Pirlo has a heavy cold and like Shevchenko did not travel to Moscow. Massimo Ambrosini has a muscle strain and remains questionable for Tuesday's match.

Argentine midfielder Fernando Redondo, who has looked close to his best again after a two-year absence through injury, stands by.

"Pirlo has a heavy cold and we left him at home," Ancelotti told reporters prior to Milan's evening practice on Monday.

"We will also test Ambrosini to see if he could play tomorrow, but Nesta was feeling much better and I think he will be able to start."
