Cesc: Spain will finally show quality on big stage

Spain are ready to shake off their underachievers tag, says Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas.
 
Ahead of today's World Cup opener against Ukraine, Cesc said: "We have a squad full of quality which is determined to achieve a much better World Cup this time."

"People do not expect us to win because we have not been successful in the past."

"But with this squad, who are together as a unit with a good understanding because we have been together a long time, we could surprise everybody."

"People will see us and Ukraine as favourites to go through from our group. You cannot underestimate any opponent but we believe we should go through."
